Acts of Kindness
California Nevada News
One of the features of the "Share Jesus Mission" that several Cal-Nevada churches have been doing is a series of public "Acts of Kindness." The way that works at Community UMC, Oakdale, is this: Participants go through the community each day (9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m) doing acts of kindness. The acts range from putting coins in washers and dryers at the laundromats, giving away free slurpees, having a free car wash, giving away sodas and hotdogs.
